Description
Extruded Polypropylene Sheet is an economical material that combines outstanding physical, mechanical, thermal and electrical properties not found in any other thermoplastic. Compared to low density or high density polyethylene, it has lower impact strength but superior operating temperature and tensile strength. PP sheet is known for its excellent chemical resistance in corrosive environments, excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreases and electrolytic attack. It is lightweight, stain resistant and has low moisture absorption.
Extruded Polypropylene Sheet is the most widely used. It offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, is stiffer and stronger, combined with good chemical resistance and weldability, making this material useful in many corrosion-resistant structures.
