Corflute is the industry name for corrugated polypropylene, and corflute board is a lightweight yet rigid corrugated plastic. The plastic is extruded into large rectangular grooves all the way through it, and it has excellent outdoor life. The name “Corflute” is actually registered with Corex, but the industry has used it as a generic term for grooved plastic.

Corflute board is almost essential for election signage. Signs need to be exposed to the elements for up to 3 months, depending on the area. One of the advantages of sheets of corflute is ease of installation. Election signs are usually supported by hardwood stakes that can be quickly installed on loose ground and removed quickly. Common election sign sizes are 600mm x 900mm and 450mm x 300mm. Election signs are almost always 5mm printed corflute. Our only wish is for aspiring politicians to be able to recycle corflute panels.
