Flame retardant correx sheet is based on the raw materials of ordinary correx boards to add fire retardant additives to achieve flame retardant effect. Correx sheets are also known as corflute sheets, coroplast panels, danpla sheets, polyflute boards, corrugated plastic sheets, pp hollow boards, fluted pp sheets etc.

Grade of flame retardant correx sheet

UL 94 (Safety Standard for the Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Equipment and Appliance Testing) is a standard for the flammability of plastics. This standard determines the propensity of a material to extinguish or spread a flame after a sample is ignited.

  • V-0: vertical burning; burning stops within 10 seconds, no burning drips allowed.
  • V-1: vertical burning; burning stops within 60 seconds, no burning drips allowed.
  • V-2: Vertical burn; burn stops within 60 seconds, allow burn to drip.
  • H-B: Horizontal Burn; Slow Horizontal Burn Test (H-B) is considered “self-extinguishing”.
